About Me

I'm a counsellor based in Hong Kong, working with adults and adolescents navigating transition, identity, and belonging. My work is grounded in thoughtful listening – helping you understand the deeper patterns beneath your experiences.

Who I Work With

Life in Transition

Life doesn't always give warning before it shifts. A relationship ends, a career changes shape, or a family grows or empties out. For some, this reckoning comes later in life – questioning gender, sexuality, or a long-held sense of self, and finally asking who you are outside the roles you've lived by. This work makes room for that question, at your own pace, without rushing toward an answer.

Adolescents

I work with adolescents finding their way through identity, belonging, and the pressures that come with growing up. Years spent working closely with young people in an educational setting inform how I understand this stage of life – its challenges, and its capacity for change.

Identity & Belonging

For others, questions of belonging began much earlier – shaped by adoption, donor conception, or growing up across cultures, countries, or family structures different from those around you. These experiences can leave you living with unanswered questions about who you are and where you come from, alongside the quiet, ongoing work of building a grounded sense of self.

Session Details

I offer individual therapy for adults and adolescents, available online and in person in Sheung Wan.

Sessions are typically 50 minutes and offer space to slow down, reflect, and explore what feels most alive or challenging. Extended 75-minute sessions are also available when a more spacious pace would be helpful.

Confidentiality

Confidentiality is central to this work. Sessions are held in a space where privacy and trust are respected, allowing you to explore your experience openly and without judgement.

My Approach

Empathy

My approach is grounded in thoughtful listening and collaborative exploration. I aim to offer a steady, reflective space where complexity can be explored without pressure to arrive at immediate answers.

Understanding Patterns & Possibility

Rather than offering quick solutions, I aim to help you understand the deeper patterns beneath your experiences — patterns formed through family, culture, attachment, loss, and adaptation. I also pay attention to how language, emotion, and the body shape the way you see yourself, relate to others, and imagine what is possible. As these patterns become clearer, there is more room to respond intentionally and live in greater alignment with who you are.
